Pepperdine Caruso School of Law to Host Annual Dinner “For Greater Purpose” Featuring U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel A. Alito, Jr.

MALIBU, California — The Pepperdine Caruso School of Law will host its annual on Saturday, September 26, 2026, featuring Samuel A. Alito, Jr., Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States.

The annual dinner brings together alumni, students, faculty, and supporters to reflect on the school’s enduring commitment to academic excellence and Christian values. Guided by this year’s theme, “For Greater Purpose,” the evening underscores Pepperdine’s mission to strengthen students for lives of great purpose, faithful service, and principled leadership.

“The annual Caruso Law Dinner reflects the heart of our community and our shared commitment to something greater than ourselves,” said Dean Paul L. Caron. “We are honored to welcome Justice Alito for an engaging conversation on faith, law, and legal education.”

Before his nomination to the Supreme Court of the United States in 2006, Justice Alito had a distinguished record of public service following his graduation from Yale Law School, including serving as U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey and as a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Pepperdine’s “For Greater Purpose” initiative reflects the University’s commitment to whole-person formation, equipping students academically, spiritually, and socially to discover and live out their calling. At Caruso Law, this mission is advanced through a rigorous legal education that prepares graduates to navigate complex challenges with integrity and a commitment to service.

The event will begin at 7 p.m. PT. For additional details and to RSVP, visit
